How Failure Creates Great Success

Last Friday I took my 8 year old son skiing for the first time.

While he was off from school for parent teacher conferences, I just took OFF.

Because when you run your own successful home based business, you can do that sort of thing.

You know, movies in the middle of the day on a weekday while everyone else is at work, sleeping in 'til noon if you feel like it...you name it - YOU own your time to do what you want, when you want, with whom you want.

Anyway...

So I'm on a ski lift on my way up to the top of the mountain and I'm watching these young kids in the snow park below me, perform all sorts of aerials on skis.

It was pretty awesome to see these kids on skis doing backflips, twists and all sorts of maneuvers in mid air and actually land on their feet.

Well, when I got to the top of the lift and skied down the mountain a little, I decided to go check out the competition and watch for a few minutes with a couple hundred people standing around drinking hot chocolate and cheering the kids on.

So this one kid approaches the starting gate, ready to begin his heat, and starts gliding down the hill.

Just when all of us spectators are ready to see some magic, he catches an edge at his first jump and winds up face first on the snow, body flailing like a rag doll and sliding down on his belly towards the fence.

Everyone just stood silently to see if he was ok.

Thankfully, the kid laid there for just a quick moment, stood up, brushed himself off and continued back down the mountain to finish the rest of his routine.

Amazingly, he nailed every single jump and finished his run just flawless.

Matter of fact, he performed so well that he wound up coming in first place for his age group, which had 7 other kids all going for the gold medal.

And so, I began to really think about this.

Here's a kid who fell flat on his face within just seconds of getting started for his gold medal run, falls flat on his face, gets up and brushes himself off, and still finishes flawlessly.

All I could think if at first was...WOW -AWESOME!

But then I began thinking about it.

The reason this kid actually won, is because he wasn't afraid to fall again.

And because he did fall at first, the reason he performed the rest of his routine flawlessly, was because there was no more pressure to be perfect.

He already proved that he was human and was still able to perform at his best.

This is also why he won. Because this is how winners perform.

They are not afraid to fail and continue learning from each experience. This is how you develop wisdom.

This then got me thinking about how home business entrepreneurs operate.

They put so much pressure on themselves to do everything right, say the right things and be perfect, that they go either way too slow to ever create any momentum, stay stuck or just dont go at all.

When all along, if they would not worry so much about the outcome and just stay focussed on the process, not only would they learn the most productive skills they need to get to the top of success mountain, but they'd also develop the character to stay there.

You see, a HUGE part of success, is failure. Because without failure, there would not be any success.

Just like without cold, there would not be heat or without bottom, there would be no top
So, if you want more success in your business and in your life, not only should you be willing to welcome failure, but expect it. More importantly, expect to learn from it.

So, the bottom line is...if you are already experiencing some results, great - keep at it.
However, if you truly want to double your rate of success, then you must be willing to double your rare of failure.

Remember, you don't have to get it all right to succeed - you just have to get it going.

Profile of a Successful Entrepreneur

Almost every day, I get asked by my business partners, clients and students, "What is the ideal profile of a succesful entrepreneur?"

They want to know, "How can you tell who will be successful and who most likely, will not."

Well, the truth is that you can never be 100% sure, because you just never know whose dreams are bigger than their problems.

The only way to really find out who is going to make it, is to give them a track to run on and see who shows up at the finish line!

This doesn't mean you don't coach them along the way, but if you give people a track to run on and they never leave the starting gates, well you know that is not the right person to invest your time into.

It's almost like breeding horses when it comes to success.

You can breed a horse for strength.

You can breed a horse for size and perhaps even color.

But the one thing you cannot breed a horse for, is heart.

And this is one of the few traits that if a person has, will carry them through the toughest of times in their life and business.

However, here are some signs that indicate what you might expect from people:

#1 - Succesful people make decisions quickly and change them slowly.

Unsuccessful people can't decide what to do, take a long long time to choose and typically change courses overnight. This is a direct result of being more job oriented and less wired for entrepreneurship.

The successful entrepreneur sees an opportunity and jumps all over it.

Unsuccessful people are presented with the facts and resort to logic or reason why they should or should not get started. This lack of decision making, results in low vibrational energy and actually repels people, money and success from them.

Successful are the people who when they hear that a seminar or convention is taking place, they choose right then and there, finances in place or not, that they will be there no matter what. They see themselves there, they feel themselves there and they do whatever it takes, starting right away to live into that reality.

Sure enough, they make the event and as a result, come back a completely different person than when it began. They return home closer to the person it will take for them to take their business to the next level and often do.

These are also the same people who see something they want and decide that they must own it.
It could be a car, a home or even just a position in their company. Perhaps even an income level. No matter what "it" is, they are driven to succeed and make no excuses if it takes longer than normal to acheive their goals. They are too busy producing.

Successful people are not a part of the Not Much Crowd. This is the crowd that answers "Not much", when asked what's going on. If you are a part of the "Not Much Crowd", chances are good that you are not on your way to acheiving much.

It doesn't matter what the situation is; successful people make decisions quickly and are always working on something whether its a project, making the next level in their business or creating something new to improve their position in the marketplace.

These people not only make quick decisions but they also live a life of complete belief, faith and trust.

And sure enough, their bank account and lifestyle reflects their ability to choose fast and decide without having to "think" much.

(Be sure to read my Need for Speed Post from a couple weeks ago to learn more about this get it done quality)

#2 - Successful people know that 90% of getting what they want is knowing what they have to give up in order to get it.

This means sacrificing non-revenue producing activities like television, bowling on Thursday nights and sometimes even family time.

In other words, successful people do the things today that others will not do, so that they can do the things tomorrow that others cannot do.

Put another way, successful people do whatever they have to do as quickly as they can, so that they can do whatever they want to do, for as long as they can.

These people are in a rush to get it done now and want to enjoy the rewards forever.

#3 - Successful people invest in themselves because they know that its the best investment they can make.

Unlike stocks or real estate or even private placements, which you have no real control over, successful people are constantly looking to develop their own personal skills.

This way, no matter what the economy or state of the industry, they will always be in high demand.

They know that the marketplace pays big money to those who have skills, know how to use them and can teach them those same skills.

Just some of the skills you want to continually invest in:

- How to prospect, speak with people and connect.

- How to advertise your business to the right people.

- How to market so that you leverage your time and effort while getting high quality targeted traffic to come to you.

- How to use technology so that you can communicate more effectively in today's marketplace.

- And how to set up a marketing funnel using online methods to make sure that your own personal economy never goes dry.

This combines both online and offline methods into one complete package.

Yes, succesfful people must be well rounded in all areas mentioned above because if not, in today's marketplace, they will not make it.

While everyone else lives in fear about what they are going to do, successful people are already doing it.

So, are you a success story just waiting to happen?

Or...are you one of those people who can't make decisions and prefer to watch television than get on a training call, webinar or attend an event?

Only you can decide which type of entrepreneur you are being today.

All I know is that good things don't come to those who wait, but to those who choose to hustle.

Until my next post...

To Meet or Not to Meet? That is the Question...

I received a question today from Betsy, a distributor in my organization.

Here was her question:

"I'm having trouble with my business. I just can't seem to get anyone signed up no matter what I do. I've been in the company since February.

I went to a local training in my area about a month ago and found out that there are others in my city who are also having the same problem.

We agreed to meet every week to talk about what we are doing and how we can get people to sign up.

What do you suggest I bring to our next meeting so that I can help everyone become more successful
?"

Well Betsy, first, thanks for your question.

The fact that you asked shows me that you:

A) Truly care about others
B) Truly care about becoming more successful yourself

Interestingly enough, these 2 components are part of the equation in the bigger picture of your long term success.

Now don't take this the wrong way, but the first thing I'd recommend is that you dismantle your local group immediately!

Because that mastermind, although created with great intentions, is causing each of you to hold the others down.

Each will do whatever they can to "hold on" to the other, so that they don't have to start swimming themselves.

Another way to put this, is that "misery" loves company.

So, instead of sitting around with a bunch of non-producers, start surrounding yourself with the leaders, not the followers.

Remember, water seeks its own level, but you want to do the opposite.

Start investing your time with the leaders and the producers.

Start watching, observing and paying much more attention to every detail about them.

Look, watch & listen to what and how they do what they do.

This can be done locally, or even over the phone.

If you live locally, offer to assist them by doing minor tasks for them.

Volunteer to assist them at events or with anything they might need to run their business.

This is called an "apprenticeship" and as far as I know, just about every successful leader I know, was mentored by someone more successful than them.

Don't forget that Your income, influence and potential are in direct proportion of the income, influence & potential of the five people whom you invest most of your time listening to and communicating with.

If you don't feel comfortable working directly with a leader, invest in their cds or books until you develop the confidence to approach and then mentor with them.

I did this with a number of my first mentors.

I bought every audio set they producedand eventually after listening to them so many times, I began speaking and even thinking like them.

That way, when we finally met for the first time, I felt more like them and projected the confidence to be in their presence.

Each of my mentors could sense that I was hungry for success because I was in "rappoire" with them.

So, they took me under their wing and taught me how to make money fast, sometimes, when I wasn't even in their downline.

So Betsy, cancel your meeting.

Break up the group.

Forward this message on to everyone in it.

Make sure each of you attach to a successful mentor, but not each other.

It's ok to keep in touch and maintain your relationships, but do not consult each other if none of you is making any money yet.

There is nothing worse than the blind leading the blind, each attempting to consult each other on something they know nothing about.

Save yourself first, then go back and save the rest of the world.

If not, all of you could be a part of one ugly scenario.

Remember, the best way to save a drowning person is to not be one of them.

Find a mentor or mentors today and learn everything you possibly can from them.

It's the best and fastest way to make it long term in your business.

Is Your Mind Playing Tricks on You?

Yesterday while I was at the gym riding a recumbant bike as part of my daily workout, I found myself in the middle of a back and forth struggle.

No, it wasn't because I was riding between two other people arguing while they worked out,
but an internal struggle between my conscious and subconscious minds.

You see, I set the pedal resistance on the bike unusually high after about a 2 minute warm up and set the digital timer for 30 minutes.

My goal was to pedal for 28 minutes at a level that I'd normally only reach for about 3 minutes during the peak of my ride before I cut back to a more comfortable level and then cooled down.

In other words, I was severly challenging myself in a way I'd never done before.

It was truly a test of my own will, just to see how far I could push myself.

I knew that when I set this goal for myself, (and the timer) that I was in for a major test.

So as my legs were churnin' & burnin' in just the first minute of this super high intensity portion of my ride, already my mind was coming up with reasons why I should just get off the bike and go lift some weights.

Excuse #1 - I was tired. (I wasn't at all)

Excuse #2 - I can just do it tomorrow. (Yeah right - don't fall for this one - most people do)

Excuse #3 - I don't want to burn myself out for my weight training. (just another lame excuse not to leave it all on the table)

Yes, I was being challenged by myself and it was pretty interesting. I was actually laughing at myself during this back and forth battle.

In the meantime, my legs were doing just fine. A little pain from lactic acid build up, but nonetheless, they were still moving and I was about 5 or 6 minutes into my workout!

Does this happen to you too?

Do you ever attempt to justify and give yourself permission to quit something you've started only to find yourself right in the middle of the undaunting task, making progress despite your attempts to sabotage your success?

If you are human, it probably happens often.

It does for me.

But like me, you overcome.

You press on.

You practice discipline.

I did and continued on my ride.

I listened to music, typed some ideas into my iPhone Notepad and just visualized passing my 2nd Degree Black Belt test in Tae Kwon Do late next spring. (Yes, I'm beginning to prepare now; not wait until a few months before my test when I have to cram...a lesson inside a lesson!)

At 30 minutes of my ride, I finished.

And let me tell you....it was AWESOME!

My legs didn't fall off, my heart didn't explode and my mind was at ease.

It was the best feeling I had after a workout in months, mainly because I kept on going, when all forces tried to stop me.

Do they do this to you too?

Do you feel resistance from people and situations around you on your way to success?

If so, embrace them.

Allow them to challenge you but stand tall in the face of adversity and keep moving your legs.

Because if you don't keep moving, continuing on and making small incremental progress, you will lose.

Empty.

Defeated.

Beaten.

But this can only happen if you are not working on yourself and practicing the disciplines that you know you must master in order to succeed.

You see, your body will do what your mind tells it to.

And it's no different while working out than building your business.

What makes it challenging is that your "logic" in justifying why it is ok if you quit is so good, that you almost believe it.

But you must not take that advice.

Continue on, keep on moving forward and keep your eyes on the end result.

Stay committed to the process and know that every day that you move forward, every step, every pedal and every moment of challenge that you overcome, that you are that much closer to success and creating an exceptional life for yourself.

Remember, the bigger the test, the better your testimonial and without some darn war to fight, the warrior may as well be dead.

Be a warrior.

Keep on fighting for your freedom.

Keep on fighting for your family.

Don't let your mind play tricks on you.

You can be, do and have everything you've ever wanted.

Just never quit and keep moving your legs!

What Makes the Difference between Success & Failure?

Looking back at the past decade of my networking career, there are several philosophies that have greatly contributed to my success over the years.

Now keep in mind, back in 1995 when I first set out to take back control of my life, I was a personal trainer in a gym, reporting to work every day at 5:30 a.m. in a pair of shorts and a collard t-shirt.

My job entailed holding a clipboard and counting backwards from ten to one while my clients lifted weights.

Those days, I had a whole different set of philosophies.

I lived paycheck to paycheck, couldn't afford to take one day off no matter how I felt; tired, sick or whatever, bills always on my mind, commuting 45 minutes each way and having to put up with adult babies who complained, made excuses, procrastinated and cheated on their diets!

I did all this for 20K per year.

When I reached my own pain threshold, (you know...that point that you just can't take it anymore and know you have to do something about it), I made the decision to stop trading my time for dollars and never work for anyone else ever again. (new philosophies beginning to form)

So, even though I started out as a personal trainer living in a small apartment, I was able to flip my entire life around with one single decision to change.

I was so disgusted about what Corporate America was all about, that I got into business for myself and the rest as they say, is history.

After running my own one-man-band private label sports supplement business for several years and going backwards into a lot of deb't, I decided to get more serious about my present and future and got focused on success in network marketing.

I was committed to developing passive in'come though the power of leverage which came from building my people and marketing teams. (Notice I said, building people; not building my business. A philosophy inside a philosophy!)

At first, I did not get great results (to the naked eye at least), but over the years, the philosophies that I adhered to, along with total commitment, discipline and massive action, I've been able to reach a level of complete and total fre'edom.

If you came to our Industry for these same things, here's one of my Old vs. New Personal Philosophies that you may want to look into for yourself: ( I will publish more in future posts).

Old Philosophy - Don't do anything unless it can be done perfectly.

New Philosophy - Doing something, even if its wrong, is better than doing nothing at all.

As my friend (who I met up at the Ritz in West Palm last month for 8 days with our families) Litman says, "You don't have to get it right; just get it going."

Truth is, everyone is a perfectionist in some way.

And since that includes you, you've got two choices:

Either positive or negative.

The Positive Perfectionist is a doer.

They are producers.

They get going and make adjustments along the way.

They don't require approval or permission to do anything. They just do it.

Oftentimes they fire before they are ready or even aim. (Some of the biggest success stories come from this personality by the way!)

They makes changes as they go forward and get better as they continue.

They make progress, even if they experience a temporary set back. (Remember, the set back is the set UP, for the Come Back!)

They stay outside of their comfort zone, which is why they succeed. They are constantly chasing perfection through action.

They jump first and grow their wings on the way down.

They are big producers.

So, the key is to just get going. Just start.

Do the wrong things until you do the right things. As long as you are moving forward, you are making progress.

The Negative Perfectionist is a procrastinator.

Most often, they don't start anything unless it's perfect.

They seek approval and/or permission from others to move forward.

The Negative Perfetionist cleans their desk, organizes their files, and practices their approach, yet they never get anywhere because by the time they get around to doing actual business, they are too tired from all the "getting ready to get ready" and as a result, make no progress.

They call their sponsor and ask how they sound on their new headset, want to bounce new ideas off their friends and read the script a hundred times so that they can sound perfect when they read it to their suspects.

Anything to prevent having to take the real action that is going to make them successful.

Anything to keep them from getting out of their comfort zone.

Anything to keep them from having to make a decision and commit to it.

Anything from doing the wrong thing, so as not to look foolish or feel bad about themself.

Anything not to speak to new people, learn to market or improve their value by investing in themself.

So, here's how you go from being a Negative Perfectionist to a Positive Perfectionist:

Do something, anything, even if it's not 100% correct.

Take a chance.

Take a risk.

Invest in yourself and your leadership value.

Don't be afraid to fail.

Don't be afraid to rack up some losses.

Don't be afraid to take a step back in order to make the big leap.

What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger.

You can always go back and correct mistakes and by taking notes and keeping score with yourself and your progress, you will gain the most important thing, and that is experience.

And this experience you develop, will give you that 6th sense called Intuition, which will allow you to make smart choices, act without "thinking" and going from being in your head, to coming from your heart.

Remember, as my friend Jeff Combs says, "Heart beats Talent Everytime!"

Develop more heart and acheive more success!

Keep your eyes peeled for more of my Favorite Old vs. New Philosophies in future posts.

The Message that Truly Changed My Life!

About 5 years ago, when I was broke, busted and disgusted, I was turned on to a very successful Network Marketer who truly helped me turn the corner from struggling in our industry, to becoming financially independent in just a few short years.

You may or may not have heard of him, but I'll be the first to admit that this gentleman's philosophy on how to build the biggest MLM business in the shortest amount of time is one of the best I've ever heard or applied to my own business.

Matter of fact, using his philosophy, I exploded my own business back in 2004 to 400 new distributors in just 90 days.

It all started when a friend of mine told me about him and suggested I subscribe to his FREE Newsletter.

About the 2nd or 3rd letter into his marketing series, I decided to take him up on his offer and began following his every word to the "T".

Here is the email that I originally received from him, that kicked it all off:

Dear Network Marketer,

During my first four and a half years in network marketing I made very little money – only about $200 a month.

Like most network marketers, I spent more money on my business than I made.

After four and a half years of failing, I got lucky and was told the “secret” of network marketing success by an industry “heavy hitter” who had been featured in Success Magazine and other business publications.

Here’s what he told me:

Get a genealogy report and recruit the network marketers that are on it. They’ve already been sold on network marketing, they understand network marketing, and more often than not they know other network marketers they can quickly recruit. This is the ‘secret’ of the industry’s top earners. Virtually all of them, including me, built their large downlines this way.”

I did exactly what he told me and in five months I was earning over $15,000 a month.

In just two years I had 12,864 people in my downline and was the company’s #1 earner.

Then when that company shut down, I joined another company and did it all over again! It was amazing!

I’ve since retired from downline building to do what I’ve always wanted – writing from my home. It’s a wonderful lifestyle, made possible because I recruited from network marketing genealogy reports.

But network marketing genealogy reports are hard to find, and I frequently get calls from distributors who ask where they can find a good genealogy. They say to me, “I’ve found lots of opportunity seeker lists, but not a new genealogy report. Can you help me?”

Well, this was the end of his message, but the beginning of the turning point in my MLM career.

To get more info and learn exactly what I'm speaking about, visit the Ultimate Success Website.

Subscribe to this gentleman's Power Recruiting Newsletter and see for yourself how this one single philosophy has allowed Top Income Earners all over the Industry to actually get there.

By following his lead, I have seen greater growth in the legs of my business than any other I've built over the past four years.

Go here right away and see for yourself what I'm talking about. It could mean the difference for you between success and failure.

http://www.mlmleadperfect.com/

Here is my suggested script for calling MLM Genealogy Leads:

Hey (NAME), how's it going?

"(NAME), this is (YOUR NAME) calling you from (CITY, STATE).
(NAME), the reason I'm calling is that I understand you were involved or are still involved in Network Marketing.

Don't worry - I didn't call to give you a long winded sales pitch or waste your time. I just called to ask you one quick question and that question is:

Are you open to looking at a new way of making money from home with a proven online markteing system?

If they say yes or are clearly receptive, ask for their email address and tell them you will send them an email with a link to your marketing website.

If they say no, thank them for their time and hang up.

If they start talking about their businesses, ask them what company are they with?

No matter what they say, (keep them from talking your ear off) tell them, "that's a great company, you're gonna do well and then ask them if they are using a Funded Proposal System, like the one over at http://www.mlmleadsandcash.com/

If they are not currently using a Funded Proposal System, you can send them a link to yours or give them your address.

And that's it!

What Level Leader are You?

There's an old adage that has circulated the Network Marketing Industry for many years, that says, "Either lead, follow, or get out of the way."

The truth is, every top leader & income earner is a great follower.

They were not born this way, but became this way, through a process of their own Personal Growth & Development over time.

This process entails following the teachings, the advice and mentorship of other great leaders who have already come before them.

Bottom line, every top income earner in our industry has made the decision to step up to the next level of leadership, no matter where they got started, to attract the next breed of upcoming leaders & followers in thier own organization.

Take a look at yourself and where you are in your business right now.

What level of Leadership are you at?

Are you a Leader Follower, a Leader's Leader or a Leader Grower?

A Leader Follower is someone who is just getting started on their way to the top.

They may be either brand new to Networking, brand new to their Company, or perhaps even new to Entrepreneurship.

Everyone starts at this level, with their enthusiasm real high and their knowledge real low.

There is nothing wrong with being at this level, however, you do not want to stay here for very long.

You must continually forge ahead, learning new skills every day, by reading books, listening to tapes & cd's, mentoring with & modeling others, attending events, and by taking consistent daily action.

The best action to be taking daily, is to be prospecting & doing 3-Way Calls withyour Upline.

Leader Followers often look toward their Upline for advice, feedback and even inspiration.

There is nothing wrong with being a Leader Follower, however nobody should want to stay here for too long.

Eventually, a Leader Follower will want to break free from the nest and try their own wings out.

Good mentors will even give them a little push from time to time.

Remember, you enrolled to become an Independant Distributor, not a Dependant Distributor.

You must reach the next level of Leadership, for your business to really take off.

More experienced Leader Followers feel that they don't have to "check in", as often with their Leaders, as they are out in the marketplace, gaining "Activity Knoweldge".

They will prospect for long hours, bring 3-Way Calls, attend events on their own and really learn to stand on their own two feet.

They still follow their Leader and use the System that has been provided for them, but they are now moving right along, learning to get to the next level of Leadership.

Many times, Leader Followers will survive this phase of Leadership on the borrowed strength of their Leader, until they develop their own strength to carry them.

The sooner you move from this phase of Leadership, to the next phase, the sooner your business will move to the next level as well.

Remember, your Business will only grow as much as you do.

The next level of Leadership, is called a Leader's Leader.

A Leader's Leader, is someone who has been through the Leader Follower phase and has now made the decision to take their business to a whole new level, by attracting other Leader Followers.

In this 2nd phase of Leadership, you'll already have the experience of being a Leader Follower, plus, you will learn a whole NEW set of skills.

First and foremost, you will realize that your committment is what's left over, when your motivation wears off.

Yes, the day will come at this stage of your growth, or perhaps even sooner, that you want to quit. However, your committment is so strong that you forge ahead anyways and find a way to get past your frustration or even discouragement.

Being a Leader's Leader means that you begin to get out of your head, and into your heart.

This is when you operate from your beliefs and your newly developed confidence.

This is when you really begin attracting others, who are looking for you, just as much as you are looking for them.

The best way to become a Leader's Leader, is to Lead by Example, give more thais expected and to go beyond the call of duty for the benefit of everyone on your team.

Remember, if you are not speaking to Leads, you are not Leading. A Leader's Leader is always looking for other Leaders who may be looking for a new Opportunity.

You will realize that speed of the Leader determines the speed of the pack.

This is also the level of Leadership where you realize that there is still so much to learn, and that by staying coachable and teachable, you will allow yourself to progress to the next level of Leadership.

A Leader's Leader can look in the mirror and realize that they are looking at both the problem and the the solution.

The next Level of Leadership, is called a Leader Grower.

A Leader Grower is someone who has experienced the fist two levels of Leadership, and has come to the next level in their understanding about themselves, others, and ofcourse, their business.

A Leader Grower understands that they don't get paid for time invested but for the value that they bring to the marketplace.

A Leader Grower understands that the more he or she learns the behavioral language and patterns of themselves and others, the more success they are going to experience.

The Leader Grower also understands Time, and how to Protect, Prioritize & Preserve it.

The Leader Grower also knows that he or she doesn't mangage people. They lead people, and mangage situations.

In addition, Leader Growers know that time management is impossible. Time is always moving. Instead, we must learn to manage ourselves, in time.

Leader Growers live by the Laws of Task & Delegation and give others the opportunity to take on their own responsibilities, as opposed to doing everything for everyone, and being everything to everyone.

A wise old sage once said that the best leaders, are those who instead of trying to explain everything to everyone, invite others to simply stand by their side, and see for themselves.

Being a Leader Grower sometimes means being a reflective device for others to see themselves in a new light, with grace, and dignity.

Having the attitude of gratitude, contribution vs. collection, peace & power over force & chaos, is the true essence of leadership development.

John Maxwell, one of the World's Greatest Business Leaders states "True leaders are not those who strive to be first, but who are the first to strive and give their all for the success of their team. True leaders are first to see the need, envision the planand empower the team for action. By the strength of the Leader's committment, the true power of the team is unleashed."
So, once again, just as the subject of this email asks, "What level Leader are you?"

More importantly, which level are you committed to acheiving next?

And when?

Remember, Someday is not a day of the week.
